Run for a cause with the Jingle Bell Half Marathon & 5k benefiting charity partner, Debbie’s Treasure Chest, which was founded in 2007 to provide aid and support for disadvantaged and at-risk families in the Merrimack Valley and surrounding areas.

It began with three adopted children, Maxine and Talia Harvey and their friend Anna McCabe, reflecting on how very lucky they were to have been adopted by loving families, capable of supporting them. The trio wanted to give back to their community and reach out a hand to those children who had not been as lucky as they were.

For several years before founding, the three had collected toys to donate to foster children through the Department of Children and Families, aided by their favorite social worker, Debbie D’Iorio. Sadly, Debbie passed away in 2006, but her influence lived on as the girls’ charitable project received its name.

Toy & Clothing Drive

We’re thrilled to announce our charity partner Debbie’s Treasure Chest will be hosting a winter clothing and toy drive during the event!

We are looking for kids’ toys, winter coats, sweatshirts, jackets, sweatpants, etc. to be donated at the event. Any and all sizes are welcome and encouraged! As a general rule of thumb, new or gently used clothing will be accepted. While we appreciate the generosity, we cannot accept shoes.

Donate Today!

Representatives from Debbie’s Treasure Chest will be on-site during early packet pickup and on event day collecting donations. We are hoping with close to 1700 participants and spectators at the event, we can collect enough toys and warm clothing to keep many community members happy and warm this holiday season!
